Select images to compress
JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Up to 50 files, 41.9 MB each on this device. Processing stays on your device—files are not uploaded to Utilxen servers for this tool path.
Animated images are rejected. EXIF metadata is stripped from outputs.

How image compression works here
Utilxen decodes your image in a Web Worker, optionally limits the longest side, then re-encodes to the same format family (JPEG, PNG, or WebP). You see original and result sizes before download. Quality is a tradeoff: lower values usually mean smaller files and more visible compression.
Tips for better results
- Start with the Recommended preset, then adjust quality if needed.
- Limiting the longest side often saves more than quality alone for phone photos.
- PNG screenshots may shrink less than photos; WebP or JPEG can help when transparency is not required.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded to Utilxen?
No. Compress Image processes files in your browser with a Web Worker. The “Processed on your device” badge reflects recorded network-egress verification for this tool.
Which formats are supported?
JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Animated PNG/WebP are rejected rather than silently flattened.
Is EXIF kept?
Compressed outputs strip EXIF metadata by default to reduce size and avoid leaking location or device tags.
Can I compress many images at once?
Yes. Batch mode shows per-file status and offers a ZIP download for successful outputs, with device-aware limits.
